The Festo MSSD-F is a female solenoid connector designed for use with valves fitted with F solenoid coils. This angled 3-pin plug socket features a rectangular MSF design and mounts directly to the solenoid valve using an M3 central screw, providing a secure and compact electrical interface for pneumatic automation assemblies.
Built for self-assembly, the MSSD-F uses screw terminal connection technology and accepts cables with a diameter of 6 mm to 8 mm and a nominal conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm². Its angled cable outlet can be rotated by 180°, allowing flexible cable routing in confined control panels, valve manifolds and machine installations.
Rated for operating voltage ranges of 0 to 250 V AC and 0 to 250 V DC, with a current carrying capacity of 16 A at 40°C, this connector is suitable for a wide range of industrial solenoid valve applications. When mounted, it provides IP65 protection, helping to protect the electrical connection against dust and water ingress in demanding environments.
The MSSD-F has a black plastic housing, NBR seals and an integrated protective earth connection. With an ambient temperature range of -25°C to +90°C and compliance with CE, UKCA and RoHS requirements, it is a practical replacement or spare connector for maintaining Festo valve systems and related pneumatic control equipment.
